NamoGuide is an innovative startup focused on connecting tourists, especially foreigners, with verified guides to ensure a safe and enriching travel experience. Our platform aims to eliminate fraud and enhance authenticity in the travel industry. We are currently in the MVP phase and looking for passionate individuals to contribute to the development of our product.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer Intern to assist in building and optimizing our web platform. This role offers an opportunity to gain real-world experience in web development, work in a startup environment, and contribute to a meaningful project. You will work alongside experienced developers, receive mentorship, and enhance your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React.js (Frontend) and Node.js/Express.js (Backend).
- Assist in designing and optimizing database architecture (MongoDB).
- Implement authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth etc.).
- Work on RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
- Assist in the payment gateway integration for the booking system.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create a seamless user experience.
- Implement responsive design using Tailwind CSS.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
- Work closely with the founding team to enhance the product features.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):.
- Exposure to deployment.
- Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time chat integration.
